I don't need the jackd package installed for that, nor do I have to use any crazy parameters to the command.

Give it a try.Shlomohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01165462366964097266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27488238.post-8664167182625352312007-05-14T03:35:00.000+02:002007-05-14T03:35:00.000+02:00Chris Carter: I changed your keyboard client to us...Chris Carter: I changed your keyboard client to use DDR dance mat instead. Unlike the ChucK-based drummer, this one enqueues the notes instead of playing them in real time, so most of the fun is lost :-/

http://pastie.caboo.se/61345tawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16972845140253292628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27488238.post-13454068396046332412007-05-13T20:37:00.000+02:002007-05-13T20:37:00.000+02:00http://pastie.caboo.se/61277There is a client that...http://pastie.caboo.se/61277
There is a client that will take keyboard input.Chris Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609522122153003345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27488238.post-12416948563783834692007-05-13T18:34:00.000+02:002007-05-13T18:34:00.000+02:00http://pastie.caboo.se/61246Right now its "keyboar...http://pastie.caboo.se/61246

Right now its "keyboard input" is sending it note messages through irb. It is also set up for easy DRb use, so the easiest way to do the client would probably just open a DRb connection, and send note messages. If you want, I can send you a copy of the code, and we could try to work on getting a dance pad input system. I don't own a dance pad, but this post has inspired me!

cdcarter at gmail (ruby message send glyph)(.) comChris Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609522122153003345noreply@blogger.com
